Performer

Friedemann Kleinert, born in Dresden in 2004, is currently in his fifth semester studying church music B at the Dresden University of Church Music and will receive his diploma in the summer of 2027. He was taught organ literature by Prof. Martin Strohhäcker and took organ improvisation lessons with Marcus Steven. He is currently taking lessons in both organ subjects with cathedral organist Sebastian Freitag. 

After graduating from the Christian School in Dresden and completing a voluntary social year at the Dresden Philharmonic in the Kulturpalast, he was able to perform with the Dresden Philharmonic, the Dresden Kreuzchor, the Moritzburg Festival Orchestra, and other ensembles on a project basis while still a student. He conducts the choir of the Herz-Jesu-Gemeinde in Dresden. He regularly performs organ services at the Christuskirche, the Herz-Jesu-Kirche, and the Lukaskirche in Dresden, the Meissen Cathedral, and the Frauenkirche in Dresden, where he has frequently played devotions and church services since 2024.


Klaus-Henri Göbel was born in 2002 and grew up in the Thuringian village of Zella. He began taking piano lessons at the age of six, followed by organ lessons with local cantor Ken Iwane at the age of twelve. During his school years, he provided musical accompaniment on the organ for numerous church services. After graduating from high school in 2021, he began training at the vocational school for music in Bad Königshofen, which he successfully completed in 2023 as a cantor and state-certified ensemble director. During this time, he was taught by organ teachers Wolfram Bieber and Matthias Böcking. Alongside his training, Klaus-Henri Göbel worked at the Organ Building Museum in Ostheim, where he gained deeper insights into the history of organ building. Since 2023, he has been studying church music at the University of Church Music in Dresden, where he receives organ lessons from Marcus Steven and Prof. Martin Strohhäcker.


Paul Bernhardt, born in Ichihara, Japan, in 1998, has been a singer with the Dresden Boys' Choir since 2007. From 2016 to 2017, he served as prefect. In 2019, he began his C-level training at the Dresden University of Church Music, which he successfully completed. Since 2024, he has been studying for a diploma in church music B at the same institution.


Sonja Schubert, born in Chemnitz in 1992, is currently in her third year of study at the HfK Dresden. In addition to her studies, she is a high school mathematics teacher. In 2015, she successfully completed her bachelor's degree in physics in Berlin. Stays abroad took her to Austria and Spain, where she completed her master's degree in physics and worked as a German teacher for several years. There she also began her training in organ at the Conservatorio Profesional de Zaragoza. She currently plays regularly at church services in the Old Catholic parish of Dresden, the Catholic parish of Zwickau, and Evangelical Lutheran parishes, and participates in various projects in the Dresden and West Saxony region on the organ, piano, and viola.


Sophie Charlotte Reichardt grew up in Beeskow, Brandenburg, and began taking piano and clarinet lessons at the age of 12. At 15, she transferred to the music program at Landesschule Pforta in Saxony-Anhalt and also took organ lessons. She often participated successfully in Jugend musiziert competitions and received funding from the state of Brandenburg. Sophie has been studying church music in Dresden since 2022.
